I think it would be a good idea to have one of the soft, plastic balls on the field to play football because the sponge balls get recked easly.

i think that the little kids in there area there should be a sign saying stop and walk to make it more safe and aswell there should be a sign on the big kids area saying you may get hurt so watch out to it more safe there aswell

I think that in muton primary school we should decorate our hall and liven up our entrance to the school reception so it looks like a very nice place for adults to take their children to lean things.

We think that it would be nice if we had snakes and ladders marked on the playground and a maze too. We would also like more activities to play at playtime such as playground games, hoops, skipping ropes and balls.

Blinds
mr theoblads has orderd them already and they should be up by the time we comeback in September.

playground markings
Mr Theobalds has been looking into having more paintings on the playground like snakes and ladders and other things.

cloakroom
the school can’t build to make it bigger . Can you suggest anything else with the space already there?

I have seen people kicking the wood chip and the dust, I think it should not be allowed because it could get into somone’s eyes.
The wood chips are being kicked onto the memorial flower bed too and I don’t think that’s good.

I think the adventure playgrond needs brightening up because it looks a little bit dull at the moment. Maybe coloured paint on the wood or paintings we have done could be stock on the wood.

It is really nice to read everyone’s comments and ideas. I thin there are lots of really good ideas and comments. Paige would like a more inviting reception area. We are having a new reception area in September and are hoping that it will look much better and give us more space to deal with the very busy office we have. I like Ricky’s comment about the Adventure Playground. Perhaps we could have an Art Project similar to the one a few years ago for the Muxton Playing Field Area when an Artrist came into school and lovely art work was designed. It would be lovely to have a big painted board or a plague made, designed and painted by the children.

Well I have learnt somthing new today. Listening to Radio 1 while driving in my car today, they were talking about their blog sites and I did not have a clue what they were talking about.
Now I am ‘blogging’ !
Well done to the Muxton School Council. The site is very interesting with some great ideas emerging. I will make sure fellow school governors are aware of the site so they can have an understanding of what the children think of their school. Well done to all, keep up the good work.

I’m glad to see some of you still using the web site.
We are waiting for some software updates so that the screens can work properly throughout the school. We’ve already put up football scores and will be keeping you up to date with lots of things going on at Muxton.
What about a list of those children getting behind with their homework – what do you think?
Well, Olivia – more holidays eh? I wonder what your parents would think> But your mum’s a teacher – perhaps she would agree with you. I’m pretty sure it’s not going to happen.
What age is the person you want to buy presents for Christmasp?
