As you have probably read in Muxton Matters, our school dinner options are about to change. We will soon be having only one option of a meal at dinner time. Muxton School Council wants to know what you think of our school dinners.
What are your favourite meals?
Do you like where you eat your meals?
And what about how you eat your meals. What do you think of the crockery and cutlery?
If you have any issues please tell us.

I think it would be nice to try food from different countries, perhaps once a week. We could do a world cup theme and try food from every country that has a team in the competition.

We think that there should be metal cutlery for the juniors so that we can feel more grown up, also we can’t cut our food propertly with plastic knives and forks. Another reason is that none of us eat with plastic knives and forks at home so why should we at school!!! Some of us are also fed up with the trays, we would like flat trays with plastic or china plates just for the juniors.
Thanks

Just a quick blog to say that we are currently writing a letter to the kitchen staff asking them if the juniors can have metal cutlery and separate plates and bowls for the juniors. We are waiting for a reply and will get back to you soon.

I think that the dinner ladies should put the juiners on the big seated tables so we have more room and the little ones can go on the small chairs.
Thanks

I like school dinners but the queue takes too long so I don’t get enough time to go out and play. I bring a packed lunch now so I can spend more time playing with my friends.

i think year 5/6should have metal cutlery and china plates but there is one problem if you drop the china plates they might smash plus years 1,2,3,4should not have them because they dop them on purpose and the plates would not last very long moving on we should be able to have a choice of what we want for lunch time
