Hi guys! We are the new Muxton School Cuoncil and we thought we had better get up and running with the School Council blog site! So far this year, we have been collecting all your ideas for how to make Muxton School a better place for all of us. So…each School Councillor went back to their classrooms and we asked you what we should discuss at our first full meeting. These were your suggestions for improvements:
- Bird Boxes
- Airfreshners in the toilets
- Metal cutlery for Key Stage 2
- Regenerating our school pond
- Having music playing in classrooms
- More musical instruments
- First aid room for Mrs. Lane
- Improving the lbirary
- Path through the trees in the adventure playground.
These were the 9 main ideas – please tell us what you think!
We are currently working on the bird boxes and the cutlery.

I think every class should have a classroom pet – fish,hamsters,rabbits,gerbles and terepins

I think that we should have lockers because when I put my coat on the peg it just falls of but if we had lockers they cant fall out and also please can you fix the gap in the year 5|6cloak room.

i agree with molly because i put my coat on the peg at the beginning of the day and when i go and get it at the end of the day it is on the floor all muddy because people have been walking all over it. i really want lockers aswell because then our coats wont be muddy.

I think we should have our own desks in the classroom with lift up lids because our books get all bent in the table trays. Also, I think that we should have lockers like Chloe and Molly said. Well, HAPPY BLOGGING.

i think school din dins should be inproved and the year 5/6 toilets coz all the other toilets av bin changed|!!! also i think mr doodson should teech uz how 2 play the instramunts!

I agree with Hayley. That ould be a really good idea, so the we only have to open the lid and our books and stuff would be there.

I agree with Michael, and people who go to musicate can bring their instrements in and play them infront of people (or even Mr Doodson!!!)

I think that we should have recycling bins in front of the school and inside.Also i like the idea of the lockers and desks.We should also have a compost bin for the little kids to put their things,but put orange peel in the bin cos it takes 50 years to even start.

I think we should have an annual talent show contest every year and there can be finals and prizes like vouchers or summat.
