Thank you for all your ideas about how we can improve Muxton School for you. Please keep them coming!
As well as our buildings and environmen, we also need to think about our learning. Do you have any comments on teaching and learning at Muxton School?
For example…
What is your favourite lesson? Why?
How do you like to learn? (games, discussion, writing, roleplay, laptops, theme days, music, research, through art)
Where do you like to work?
What is your least favourite lesson? How do you think it could be improved? P.S. Please make sure you are polite.
Thanks

Hi guys, i think you need to sort out the year 5 and 6 boys toilets because, one of the doors is off completely, some of the locks dont work and today i found a poo on the floor and reported it, but nobody seemed bothered, the toilets are generally shabby and unclean.

Tia, Bethany and Vicky like PE because it gives us more exercise and gives us ideas of games to play at school. Pheobe really wants to do more private reading as well as group reading. Nicole thinks it would be a great idea to get the reading partners up and running again. Lots of us would like to do more art , but Ellis pointed out that we do have a few art weeks. Elijah and many more would like to see more big events like sports day, plays, parties, trips, school fairs and Mufti days.

We read the blogs and talked about our favourite lessons. Matthew’s favourite is art, because he enjoys painting – Luke likes art best and likes to do it at home too. Ben likes maths best, because you get to find out more things. Abigail likes learning new songs in music. Rachel & lots of other people like PE best because it is fun and exciting. Tilly likes writing – especially practising her sentences. Daniel likes literacy especially learning new spellings because he is good at it. Paige likes Science because we look on the website and play Science games – Poppy, Harjeevan and Robyn like finding out more by investigating. Kazu likes it when we go outside to do our work. Harry loves reading because we have some really good stories in our class – Luke likes reading non-fiction books so he can find out things & Fabianna enjoys group reading. Melissa & Alix enjoy working on the laptops. We think it is fun learning at Muxton!

Hello Muxton and Miss Maddocks. You have a very busy site . We need to get going on ours again. We have busy settling in at our new school Can we get together and share some ideas do you think ?
It would be nice to compare ideas . Our school council is up and running . When do you have your meetings ? Do you involve the whole school ?
